Designed
to the Board of Education requirements, this structure has
the capacity for 744 students. Allocation of the space is
among kindergarten primary, intermediate, upper grade, and
special education classrooms with ancillary and support
facilities. These include an administrative center, dining
hall with functional full service kitchen, maintenance facility,
music, art and science rooms. This three-story building
is masonry and steel with interior walls constructed of
standard concrete masonry units. A roof assembly of insulated
concrete, insulation deck, and membrane was chosen because
of it's low-life cycle cost.
